SEGMENT GASKET ANALYSIS PROCESS

Simulation programs are used to meet customers' expectations on time and quickly. After the designed gasket is installed in the tunnel, it is analyzed with the help of a computer simulation program to see that it meets the desired properties. The properties of the rubber produced by Arsan Kauçuk are tested in special laboratories and defined in the program. Making a realistic analysis is an important criterion here. For this reason, the cross-sectional image formed when the segment gasket is connected to the tunnel blocks is created with the help of Autocad and NX 8.5 programs. In order to make a realistic analysis in the simulation program that works with the logic of the finite element method, the structure must be divided into appropriate element sizes and stabilization adjustments must be made in accordance with the model. After appropriate stabilization and element dimensions are set, a scenario is created taking into account the environmental conditions to which the gasket will actually be exposed. After all this data is entered, the model we created is solved. Although the solution time varies depending on the model created, the results are examined in detail after the solution, which takes approximately 15 hours.

Arsan Kauçuk segment gasket, which has been analyzed, is produced to be tested.

In Arsan laboratories, we make tests of tension-relaxation, force displacement and tightness on the prototype gasket. The test results of the prototype product are compared with the test results of the analyzes made in the computer environment. The accuracy of the results is confirmed on the basis of the evaluations made.

Arsan Rubber segment gasket test results are presented to the customer. After customer confirmation, the process is completed.
